The Kipaji Award
To be Eligible for a Kipaji Scholarship, you must have submit an application for a University of Twente Scholarship (UTS).
We suggest you mention your interest in the application motivation if you are qualified for and interested in the Kipaji scholarship. There are extra prerequisites for this scholarship.
Please take notice that this award is intended to cover study-related expenses. The scholarship recipient is free to choose how to use the funds. There will be no expenses (like tuition) paid on your behalf.
University of Twente Scholarship in the Netherlands
Well performed students applying in the University of Twente’s graduate program (MSc) from both EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA nations are eligible for the 2024 University Twente Scholarship (UTS).
For one year, the students get anywhere from €3,000 to €22,000 in funding.

STUDY PROGRAMME
To pay the costs of the second year of a two-year study program, students may be eligible for an extra UTS in an amount equivalent to that of the first year. The scholarship will only be maintained for the second year, though, if the students satisfy the UTS application standards.

A final third quartile grade of 7 (out of 10) for the first year on average
At the conclusion of the third quarter of the first year, at least 50% of European Credits

Twente Scholarship 2024 Application Requirements:
The process for applying for a University Twente scholarship is different from the one for Applying in Study at the University of Twente.
Must have a letter of academic acceptance.
Provisionally You have been accepted to one of the Designated University of Twente Master programs starting from the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year.
Please note that it may take up to 2 months (8 weeks) for you to get a feed back after submitting your applications.
Your student number is a must.
You have not completed a UT (under)graduate program; you are in compliance with the requirements to get a visa to enter the Netherlands (if applicable).
You meet the prerequisite for the general English language exam. IELTS Academic 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an extra 6.0 (TOEFL iBT of 20) on the speaking skills subscore
The University Twente Scholarship is a scholarship for top students; you are ineligible for a Dutch study loan. This usually indicates that you are below 5 to 10% of your class.

How to Apply Twente Scholarship
You must first Enroll to a (MSc) Master’s program. After submitting an application for a Master’s program and receiving a letter of acceptance, you can use your student ID to submit an application for the scholarships.
Dutch existing University Twente students cannot use University of Twente Scholarship.
Students from the EU or EEA cannot enroll at the UTS. For Master’s programs in the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth
Observation (ITC), the UTS is not offered. The pre-Masters program does not provide access to the UTS.
